SPECIAL EVENTS
DR SUESS ANYONE? Mr. Wood informed us that on March 24, 2006 our school will conduct a vote to determine which Dr. Suess book is our favorite. This will be done when we are in visiting our Media class. Our teacher will issue us all a small piece of paper to write our favorite book on. After we do, we will tally the votes for the most favorite story. We are doing this because March is reading month, and for fun! Every student in the school will be involved in this event. We were also told that on March 29, 2006 we will be having an assembly. That will also be the same day that Hamilton students will enjoy an activity called, read a button, hat, or shirt day. Everyone is encouraged to get involved in this activity to have fun and read.

LUNCH FUN Mrs. Janos, the cook, set two days of fun for the Hamilton students. One of these special events were green eggs and ham day. You have a choice to order this meal or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The green eggs and ham meal is free. If you choose not to eat any of these lunches, you are allowed to pack your own. This event will be held in the gym, on Friday March 17, 2006. Another event is lucky tray day. Lucky tray day is when Mr. Wood, the principal, will hand you a tray as you come in for lunch. Then you look on the back to see if there is a sticker. If there is, you win a prize. This will also be held in the gym. Thanks Mrs. Janos for a lot of fun! |
