R.E.A.D. March was an exciting month at Hamilton Elementary. This year we set a new school record! Hamilton Elementary students read 11,183 books this year! The top two reading classes were Mrs. Werner's in the lower elementary and Mr. Berels's class in the upper level. Both of the classes won a pizza party and a playground ball. The top two readers in the whole school were Mariah and Alexis. We all know that every year teachers at Hamilton have to do something embarrassing if we meet the challenge. This year, teachers had to do the Y.M.C.A. dressed in farm animal costumes. Then after they got done singing and dancing the whole school sang a song that the teachers made up called R.E.A.D. After all of that was done everyone went home a winner! Everybody at Hamilton recieved a Wendy's coupon, a twizzler, a Hamilton mood pencil, and Detroit Tigers coupon. |
