TESTIMONIALS

Dear Mr. Berels,

I think you are the best teacher I ever had.   I give  you an  A+ in

your personality!    It's cool  the way  you  make everyone laugh.  Next you get another A+ in teaching!  I like the way you use colors

and explain everything on the board.  Wow, another A+ in fun activities.  I loved the salad party and Christmas cookie exchange

and especially I liked the trash can, Halloween party.  Oh, and don't forget the end of year tie dye!  Your next grade is an A+ in

organization.  The room is nice and comfortable.

                                                            Sincerely yours,

                                                            Dakota

Dear Mr. Berels,

I think you are the most wonderful teacher I've had so far!  I like how you teach math and social studies.  When you teach math, I admit I get confused, but when you explain everything it's allot better.  I like how you use color because in years past I'd get headaches using pencils all day long!

When you teach social studies, you tell us in such voice, you make me feel like I'm there seeing and hearing everything.

What I like about you is that you make me feel like this is my second home.  You comfort us and tell us stories that can be wildly funny or emotional.  I like how you use allot of humor.  There was not one day where you didn't use humor.

The top two things that I liked this year was being in your class, and coming to school.

When I called my friend from California to see what class I was in this year, she told me,

"You're in Mr. Berels's class and I'm in Mrs. Chapman's."  To tell you the truth, I was scared to be in your class.  But after this year, I'm so glad I was!

Now that this is the end, I'm going to miss you as a teacher and like a dad.  You know how you tell us you admire us, well I got just one thing to say ...right back at yah!

                                       Miss you a bunch!

                                       Your student and friend,

                                       Cassandra

Hi Mr. Berels,

Guess who this is?  It's Jacquelyn from your 03-04 5th grade class.  I have tried to come up and see you but you had already gone.  So I am emailing you.  I'm in seventh grade at Marshall Middle School.  I have had straight A's since the beginning of 6th grade.  I know you are proud.  EVEN IN MATH!  I am active in many sports.  I am on 5 different teams.  Yes I know it is allot but I love it.  Like you always said, "Do not put so much pressure on yourself."  I still do though and my teachers say what you did.

I miss you and your teaching soooo much.  If I could choose, I would go back to your class for 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade classes.  Well, I got to go.

                                                               Sincerely yours,

                                                               Jacquelyn

Dear Mr. Berels,

It has been an honor to be in your class.  Words nor pictures can describe what it felt like to be in your room.  If I could see you everyday for the rest of my life, I'd die a happy man and be laughing at the same time!

Two things that I remember doing while I was in your room were the best times in my life.  The first was the Croswinds field trip.  I'll never forget that.  If your favorite part was the canoeing, then we're on the same page.  I never caught up to you though!

The second memory is the tye-dying.  I had never done that before.  I had waited forever to do that.  It was awesome!  Such purtyful colors!  (By the way, I wrote purtyful on purpose.)

There's nothing in your room that I would change.  It's perfect the way it was when I was in it.

I wish we all could stay in your room, but we have to go to middle school.  I no likey June 9, 2006!

I think that I speak for everyone when I say, "I don't want to leave you!"

                                             Sincerely yours,

                                             Kyle AKA "Keylee"

Mr. Berels,

You are one of my favorite teachers.  I wanted to tell you why you are one of my favorites.  You always make me feel comfortable in your room.  The reason why is because you joke around sometimes.  In education, you,re good at it.  I like how you use color to teach math.  It really helps for right brained people like me.  If I could grade you on how well you're a teacher I'd give you a Big A. I want to thank you for teaching us to be responsible.

                                                                 Sincerely yours,

                                                                 Frank

Dear Mr. Berels,

This year at Hamilton has been great.  I think the reason why it has been such a great year is because of you.

Many great things have happened this school year and I thank you for them because at my old school we would never have done things like tye-dye.  I have never had a teacher who stuck up for their students if someone was teasing them like you do.  I also would like to say keep up the good work because you're an awesome teacher.  I think this way because I am one of your students and you make us feel comfortable.  Also I like how you taught us to be responsible to be prepared for 6th grade.

                                                                                                                    Sincerely yours,

                                      Katelynn
