Wayne-Westland Community Schools (WWCS) has a tradition of excellence. We are proud to have a nationally recognized History Teacher of the Year, as well as JROTC Senior Army Instructor of the Year amongst our highly qualified and dedicated teaching staff. Great staff leads to great futures. WWCS proudly prepared three student Gates Millennium Scholarship winners over the past two years.
Our Early Childhood Center serves children from zero to age five. They can help you choose from many free programs, the right preschool program, for your child. The district offers elementary foreign language and Talented and Gifted programs (TAG). High school students choose both advanced placement classes and earn direct college credit for free.
Our award-winning Career-Technical Center offers more than 20 programs to high school students including Emergency Medical Technicial, Health Occupations, Robotics, Construction Technology, and Alternative Energies.
Our staff provides the very best educational opportunities for 11,900 students from Westland, Wayne, Canton, Livonia, Garden City, Dearborn Heights, Inkster, and Romulus.
