December 2017 - Nathaniel Martin

interview by Skyler Luttermoser

What is your favorite class?  Why?

My favorite class would be history because I love learning about the past and about how we can better ourselves for the future.

When will you graduate?  What or who has helped you reach this goal?

I will graduate at the end of the school year. I was aided by Ms. Dulzo, Ms. Fournier, and Ms. Doman. They have all helped me to stay in school and to keep my grades up.

What do you plan to do after graduation?  How will you accomplish this goal?

I am planning on joining the Coast Guard. I am also going to community college for two years and planning to transfer to a university that supports my major.  After accomplishing that I want to be a conservation officer to protect the state parks.

What are your hobbies?

I enjoy playing soccer, fishing, fixing cars, and teaching kids. One way I help teach kids, is through my church where I work on the soundboard and teach them how to operate it.

What do you plan to do after graduation?  How will you accomplish this goal?

plan to go to college for Culinary Arts at Schoolcraft College.  I will work in a restaurant while I am in school.  When I finish classes I am going to get a second job to help pay for school.
