Important information for parents from parents

WMHS has many great opportunities for students to advance.  Students have the opportunity to be in AP (advanced placement) classes, direct college classes, dual enrolled and to test out of classes.  These are all great ways for students to get ahead and to get an early start on college. Direct college and dual enrollment classes give students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school.  AP classes allow students to take a test (for a fee) at the end of the class to get college credit.  Testing out of a class allows a student to receive the credit for that class without taking the class.  They sign up, do the required projects, take the final and if they pass with a 78% or higher, get the credit.  This allows students to have the opportunity to take higher level classes.   Students need to talk to the counseling staff about these options.

WMHS has many great clubs and organizations for students to be involved.  One of our newest clubs is the Interact Club; this is a community service based club.  Students will get more out of high school by being involved.  They can get a list of clubs / organizations from the main office or the website.

Raise money for WMHS

WMHS is part of Kroger Community Rewards.  Please go to and sign up for community rewards.  It is super easy.  Our number is 90917.  It also does not take away from fuel points that you earn, it is just a great way to help WMHS.

To learn more about this group or to become an active participant, it is simply a matter of joining us. If you are interested, contact Principal Kevin Weber at 734-419-2206 for meeting dates and times.
